Meet Our Team

Veterinarian

Nicole is a 4th generation New Orleanian who graduated from LSU-SVM in 1995. She has enjoyed practicing in the city for the last 30 years. Looking at her patients in a holistic way, Nicole likes to utilize nutrition, supplements, and herbs with Western medicine in her patient care. She was certified in 2016 for veterinary acupuncture and incorporates this into her practice. Immersed in nature, yoga, and traveling are passions Nicole pursues when not in the office.

Receptionist

Heather was born and raised in Chalmette, but has a New Orleans soul. She is a licensed Cosmetologist of 20 years, and is a co-owner of a salon in her hometown. Her deep love for animals has kept her with us since 2016. Outside of work, Heather spends time with her husband Todd and their 4 fur babies. She also loves to garden, read, cook, and spend quality time with her family. 

Veterinary Assistant

Phallon was born and raised in /new Orleans. Following her passion for helping others and animals led her to pursue a biology degree concentrating on Veterinary medicine at NSU. She joined the DeSoto Park Vet team in 2019, working summers and holidays while in school. After graduating in 2021, Phallon took a full time position as a Veterinary assistant / technician. When she is not helping care for animals, she find joys in makeup, fashion, writing, and painting.   

Veterinary Technician

Jessikah is originally from northern Florida, and moved to Tampa for the university of south Florida in 2019. This is when she began her animal care journey volunteering at the Florida humane society. Since then, she has worked in emergency and general practice hospitals as well as created her own pet sitting and boarding service in Florida. She moved to New Orleans two months after visiting and loved the city. She has two rescue kittens named Bear and Ash. She also enjoys to read, bake, and live laugh love, in her free time.
